A Historical Emporium Exclusive!
A symbol of hard work, our Mason Chore Coat remains a classic and timeless piece that can be incorporated into modern wardrobes, whether for historical reenactments or as a stylish addition to everyday wear.
Chore coats were among the most common style of coat for men. Used by railroad and construction workers, as well as miners and railroad engineers. The coats were loose fitting for ease of use and to wear over other layers of clothing. The durable cloth provided protection from the elements and other workplace dangers.
Our chore coat pays homage to the most popular design details of the era including deep pockets for carrying gloves, tools or cell phones and six faux bone buttons to keep it all fastened up. Offered in several colors.
Made from a soft 100% brushed cotton exterior and is unlined. Imported. Machine washable cold and tumble dry low. Available in sizes S-3X.
