Easy to use website to place orders. Order was posted within a day or two of order. Order arrived when Historical Emporium said it would arrive. Price was reasonable for a garment that looks like period clothing and looks great on stage.

Historical Emporium is one of my "go-to" sources for mid to late 19th century clothes and etceteras. I say 'one' because other sources provide additional options that are unavailable at HE. I like HE's offerings and quality, so I am by no means diminishing HE. Obviously, I'll be back.

I'm a happy returning customer. But the last order I received was for a beautiful frock coat. I had the surprise of very expensive Customs fees at the post office, for the first time, when I went to get the package. It never happened before. Perhaps, it would be nice to advise the clientèle that fees like that could be expected sometimes. So that way, we won't get that big of a surprise when we go to the post office to get our purchase. The selection on the site is immense while most places have ONE vest, this place is a gold mine of style and quality vests, they are simply unequaled in the world. Furthermore, the delivery of the one I needed was so fast, but more impressively in a completely intact one-piece actual vest-sized, flat. It was not folded, wrinkled or otherwise marred.
