The delivery was timely, always a plus. The holster and belt is beautifully tooled, and is, IMO, an excellent value for the money. The New Ruger Blackhawk Hunter 44 Mag fits like a glove, with the front sight removed. It is very comfortable to wear, and it should last for years of use. Now that Florida has restored Constitutional (open) Carry, this is a fine holster, for open carry, and I look forward to using it, for Texas Barbecues and other occasions where open carry is an option.

Very sturdy holster that fit my peacemaker well. Only one drawback was the leather lanyard that makes the hammer loop broke the first time I used it. No biggie, you'll get that sometimes with natural materials like leather. I'll replace the lanyard with a boot lace.

These are the real deal, very sturdy construction to handle every day wear. I ordered a size up over my normal jeans size because I have a belly and they fit perfectly.

I ended up returning these because I got a size too big, and since I got the Livingston brushed trousers, I decided I didn't need a second black pair. These feel very nice, light, and comfortable, and I'll probably come back to get these again in the proper size because the brushed cotton trousers are so heavy.

I have a relatively long torso compared to my legs, but the arms of the Y on these braces are SO LONG. Normally that Y should hit about mid-upper back, but when I adjusted these, the Y was practically at the base of my neck. If the base of the Y was adjustable, I could bring that down.

I knew my trousers would come a bit big so the braces were a must! I wish they came in a smaller size since I had to shorten them as much as they could go, and once I did that, the y-back went up to my neck and it is kind of uncomfortable if I'm not wearing a shirt with a collar, but I expect everything to be a little too big since I am built smaller so I'm not complaining. Otherwise, they get the job done and I especially like the colour!

I generally have issues wearing pants because of the constriction around my waist but can't get away with wearing my homemade skirts as a stablehand since operating machinery in an ankle length skirt is a no-go, and these completely solved my issue! They are not only comfortable and make me feel like a badass, but are well constructed and durable for their affordable price! As expected due to my affliction of being female, they were a little bit big on me despite measuring beforehand, but after a few washes and trips through the dryer, as well as wearing them every day for a month straight, they now fit perfectly! I didn't even bother to adjust the length since they look great cuffed so if you don't know how to do it yourself and don't have a tailor nearby, don't worry! I will likely be adjusting the length when I get snowed in, but for now, they're perfect! I will NEVER go back to modern trousers!

I'm dressing as my Great, great grandmother in a civil war reenactment in October. She traveled on 50 miles horseback with a baby to warn the Union officers of a confederate plot. The resulting battle was a victory and turning point for the Union in Kentucky. The outfit I have purchased is no doubt, higher quality and more stylish than what my great, great grandmother actually wore. She lived on a farm, no slaves, family help only. I did purchase a belt and pistol which I may have to return as it is pretty heavy. I'm will decide between the carbine rifle and sling as soon as the sling comes in the mail. I'm all set for Oct 25-26 love my outfit.

Decided to go to an "early Halloween" party in steampunk drag and needed a proper cape to set off he stuff I had. I paid for expediated delivery and had the item the very next day, and very nice it is too. Not too heavy and still quite warm. I am 5' 8", 255 lbs with a 20" neck. The cape fitted well but the neck was tight when not wearing a collared shirt. I thought I might wear it open anyway, but wanted it not to slip off my shoulders, so I made a cape fastener by sewing two 22 mm buttons back-to-back with a small gap between them, and hot gluing decorative cogs to one button. By slipping this contraption into the open buttonhole opposite the top button and linking it to the cape's top button with a chain loop the cape was held securely, open slightly to display my ascot, with no danger of falling from my shoulders. Based on this purchase I will be using Historical Emporium for future costuming needs with no reservations.

This parasol is misrepresented on your website,it is pictured twice as the colour black ,all black ,your website sates the colour is black,what I received was a parasol with a black fabric top ,but the handle is a light colour tan.The white parasol is pictured with a light colour handle ,that is correct.I am disappointed.

I found this to be quite well made with nice quality cotton fabric. It takes dye well (we just used RIT dye) and the floral pattern stays white which was exactly what we wanted. Be aware it is very long, so if you are average height or less, you will need to hem it. Also, the sleeve bands are pretty tight (accurate to the measurement chart with no real excess). I wish the armbands were looser because it's always easier to make it smaller if necessary.

Haven't worn yet, but if I look as good as I felt when I tried it on, then I know that I will be a HIT on the cruise ship. Our theme is Western Wear

Very small and plain looking. Also comes with a generic pin back, the kind that breaks off very easily, so have to use something else so it doesn't do that.

We attended our Grandson and his beautiful bride's wedding celebration with the 1920 theme. The Luciano pinstripe suit looked the style and best was the quality of the fabric. It looked neat and sharp throughout the fun party! One note is that it needed alterations but that is nothing unusual for me.

Super look. Slimming fit. Note, this is the same Frontier Classics coat sold elsewhere as a "Tombstone Coat". Seems well constructed overall. But, one issue I see is there tends to be a funny crease at the shoulder padding in the front of the shoulder area. Perhaps needs different pad, or something? I appreciate Historical Emporium offering the long sizes for those of us with long arms. Other websites do not even mention that long size is available.

Fabric is a bit light which maybe affects the lay of the trousers slightly. Other than that, they fit great and seem to be well constructed. Beware that you must measure your "waist" around the belly button for a proper fit.

I bought this hat for my wife's birthday to top off a suffragette impression she is building. She hasn't seen it yet, but it's impressive - black net over a black fabric base, lined in red satin. It has appropriate trims, including black ribbon, a small black ostrich plume, and black silk flowers. It could easliy be trimmed even more, but it's good to wear out of the box. It's appropriately large for the Edwardian period. All in all, a very nice hat!

I must say, I was suspicious about the fit. Nothing ever fits my husband perfectly. He pulled these on and they were perfect, other than the length. But being a seamstress, I had no problem cutting off the bottom 6 inches and hemming them.

These people at the emporium get better and better the more business we conduct and I wonder how that can be accomplished. This is going to, "make my day" as Harry might quip and... more than one day. It fits very well. It compliments my brown tweed vest, pants, and spats, all purchased right here. I'll be wearing this particular ensemble at some fall and early winter events where I'm a vendor. Of course they're going to get some pictures entering me into their contest. Check 'em out!

Needed a holster for my working gun, a .45 LC River Vaquero. This is a good, solid product with everything I needed to protect my tool and be able to clear leather when necessary.

I usually sew my own clothes but it was delightful to have someone else sew for me. The fit was perfect... I am tall and it's just the right length . Thank you! .l

These are fine. They do what they are supposed to do, but are a bit finicky to work with. My main complaint is that one stud should be longer than the other to be able to fit through the 4 layers of fabric on the front of the collar. As designed, these have just barely enough space to make it fit.

Although I'm average height (5'10"), I got these shorter suspenders because on period correct high-waisted pants, regular suspenders are too long and the metal bits either come up or over your shoulder or they need to be shortened. These fit just right.

Well constructed, fits true to size, and a natural breathability to the cotton material. 10/10 would recommend!

The watch is very nice, even though it is very simple in design. I have yet to find out how to get the back open to replace the battery, for when I need to, but I am just getting used to the pocket watch. It was a little smaller than I expected, but it finished out my outfit nicely.

Since the shirts are one sleeve length, these are a must have to keep the sleeves in place. If I did not have these, my french cuff shirt would have looked sloppy at my event.

I'm tired of wearing jeans everywhere and wanted something equally comfortable but with more panache. I live in a resort area and donning this skirt (cornflower blue) and with a white blouse with some simple jewelry and a wide brimmed straw hat is the perfect way to be stylish yet comfortable. The quality of fabric and workmanship is great. This is a wardrobe must have.

Depending on what kind of look you want to portray---this apron can be the perfect finishing touch. The lace is very pretty too!

My mom is 86 and goes for a walk every morning to meet her lady friends at the coffee shop. Now, on those very hot and sunny days, she has a beautiful parasol to give her a little cover. I recently purchased the Rebecca Regency Dress to wear as a day dress for the upcoming Jane Austen Festival in September, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! I bought this as a birthday present and the recipient seems pleased. Shipped(standard) in two days from California to Ohio! Other sellers sometimes take weeks before they even send an item to the shipper. It came well packaged too.

I purchased this bathing suit as part of an outfit for a Christmas in July event. It appears to be fairly well-made, although the stripes on either side of the pants do not line up. Fortunately, the shirt is long enough to cover most of it. The bathing suit also rides a bit low in the back, so I had to be careful not to "crack" up (HoHoHo).

They aren't particularly high quality, they definitely feel like costume suspenders. They don't seem like they're going to fall apart though, they just feel like thin pleather. They work for what I need though and I needed them quickly, and they arrived quick and as described.

These pants are so comfortable and look great, definitely a great value. I bought them for a costume and wasn't expecting them to look good bc they are men's pants and I have hips, but they worked out very well.

I purchased the vest for my wild west reenactment wardrobe. It matches the material and color of a pair of pants I ordered previously from your company. The vest appears to be very high quality and should last for years, only looking better the more I wear it. I was pleasantly surprised to find it had an inside pocket along with the four on the front.The fact it's made of cotton means you can launder it yourself. Just make sure you line dry it. don't dry it in the dryer.
