Lovely blouse. Obviously very well made.
Thank you!!
The blouse is a lovely fabric with elegant lace trim very comfortable to wear.
As I like to wear my blouse over my skirt, a tapering design at the back, might have been an added feature enabling it to be worn inside or out side the skirt giving more costume options.
There are two features that I would have liked:
1. another button in the collar to hold the collar more correctly
2. better button placement in the breast area so it doesn't open at the bra!
Other than those comments, I feel it to be a good period blouse suited to many outfits.

I love this blouse! It is better made than most of the clothes you see these days - and the result is absolutely beautiful. I bought a really large size (2xl) because I have fairly large "girls" and figured I could shrink it if it was over the top (100% good cotton), and that's exactly what I did. The sleeves were still a little long so, unfortunately, even though they are sooooo pretty, I cuffed them. That works fine and it is still something to treasure. So if you don't want to shrink yours, be sure to use cold water and line dry! I love this so much and since we are taking our show on the road next year, I will buying 1 or 2 more for backup.

This is such a beautiful blouse. Went great with my skirt. I put a very old horses head pin on the collar and it looked super!! Very authentic to the time period!

This is a pretty blouse and I actually ordered it first, and returned it, from another company. The problem, imo, is that the base color has a slight yellowish cast to it when compared to the lace material, which is more ecru. Normally I am not fussy, but yellow is not a good color on me. Nonetheless, I kept it since the problem appears to occur across varying suppliers.

I found this blouse to be beautifully made from quality products. The fit around was just perfect, but have to say that the sleeves were far too long! Still, I am really pleased with it and will be wearing this regularly.

This blouse was well made and looked like the genuine item. It washed and wore well on the day and won me a bottle of French Champagne for my (very little) effort. Thanks Historical Emporium.

The blouse is lovely but the sleeves are too long and the cuffs cover my hands. The blouse fits with the exception of the sleeves.

I bought this to wear to a Civil War reenactment. It is absolutely perfect! I handmade a skirt and jacket, and bought the blouse to go under the jacket. It is so pretty and authentic that I will be able to wear it with just the skirt and look just as good!
Just what I was looking for!
Looking for a modest and pretty blouse for my Dickens Faire outfit. This blouse was perfect and so well made, the quality is excellent!
Very nice blouse. I'm typically between a Medium and a Large. I ordered a Large to avoid any chance of the buttons pulling at the breast-line (my problem area). The Large is probably a bit larger than I needed, but nothing a good hot wash and a hot dry couldn't fix. Love the blouse. Great quality.
Just like Great-Grandma Used to wear!
I have a picture of my great grandmother playing baseball in a park in the early 1900s, and she's wearing a blouse that looks exactly like this. I love the quality and attention to detail.

Very happy with this blouse. Goes perfect with my 8 panel skirt of this period. I will have to modify the cuffs and tighten them up because I ordered a larger size than I probably should have. Quality and style is perfect.
