Classic Canvas Work Vest - Walnut
Our Classic Canvas Work Vest in Walnut might have lent him a studied, serious look, like the deeply-hued timber that appointed the walls and shelves of his library. However, not wanting to be the proverbial ‘book-judged-by-its-cover’, he was often seen donning a delightfully bold and brazen tie to catch guests off guard.
A real winner in reproduction waistcoats, this one features the flat front, higher neckline and notched lapels seen so frequently in the mid 1800s, give or take a couple decades either way. Adding to the bygone charm -- five antiqued brass buttons to fasten the front and four inset pockets to accommodate a pocket watch, a ticket stub or what have you. Cinch self back allows for an adjustable fit and fully lined with a lighterweight fabric. Matched separates also available in several color options.
Constructed from 100% cotton canvas duck. Imported. Machine wash on cold. Available in sizes S through 5X. Tall sizes are available for those who need extra length in the body.
