I bought a M and it fit perfectly. I'm 5'3" and weigh 132 lbs. The material feels authentic! No polyesters, just a thick cotton. It does need ironing, of course. It says it's made in Peru. Very good quality. I feel comfortable in it. I am a docent to a museum for which I have to dress Victorian style. This blouse works perfectly.

This shirt was not for me
I received the shirt but returned it, wasn't what I thought. The color is great but it had more of a denim feel to it. Customer service was quick to respond with acknowledging the return and refund and I thank you for that. I have ordered many times with your company and love most of what I have received and will continue to purchase from you.

Good quality product. It was too small in the chest for me, but that is a common problem I have. I am tall and busty. It fit my friend perfectly. She is shorter but also busty. She is a little smaller than I am. I gave her the blouse. The color is true to the picture and the fabric was not thin by any means. It will make a perfect fall and winter top.

This shirt fit as expected. Nice medium weight material with slight puff shoulders, high neckline and banded cuffs. Dark Burgundy and went well with the dark red vest that I also ordered.

Ladies Embroidered Work Shirt
Overall, I like the style and the material (cotton). Still trying to work out the best size. Even though I measured carefully and ordered according to the sizing chart, the shirt runs much smaller, esp shoulders and armholes. Consider ordering at least one size up if your height and weight are proportional. I like to layer clothing, so am now ordering two sizes up and hope the fit is ok.

Nice, but a tad small....
I participate in our town's Historical Victorian and Pioneer era presentations/celebrations. This shirt is a good representation for both eras. It seems to be well made, nice material, well stitched, however, there are few things to note. First, the size runs small. I originally ordered the shirt per the size chart, but had to return it and reorder the next size up. (I would also recommend washing it in cold water to avoid shrinkage). The other thing to be aware of is that it has a fitted waist, which you really don't get from the photos and it is not mentioned in the description.
