I ordered this and several other items for my daughter's upcoming wedding. The entire package arrived several days earlier than expected, and I was skeptical of the purchase, but once receiving all the items I realized the material quality was high the fit was perfect and the price was great. Extra long is great!
I like Frontier Classics shirts except that the sleeves are usually too short for me. I’m over 6’ 2” with longer than average arms and legs. The fact that Historical Emporium stocks extra long, or ‘Tall’, versions of the shirts is perfect. I haven’t found them anywhere else (which is why I bought the shirt from them rather than from a supplier in the UK). I wish the long versions of Frontier Classics shirts were more widely available because this one I’ve bought is very good.

I do period recreations and Steampunk cosplay. I needed a shirt for a new cosplay not to dissimilar to the office outfits worn on The Gilded Age on HBO Max. This shirt is very close to what I was looking for and the price was not bad. It matched the frock and waist coat I got for the cosplay very well.
Understand in period, many white shirts were off white and not stark white. I love the texture and color difference.
If you are looking for a more casual Late Victorian/Edwardian shirt, this will do the trick.

Very good quality, nice and breezy and handy for summer. And the collar style makes it versatile, so you're paying for two different shirts in one. It's quite baggy around the stomach but a waistcoat takes care of that. I ordered 2XL and it fits me perfectly, which is pretty good for something I bought online.
With the collars starched up, I think it probably looks best with a deluxe western-style bowtie or a cravat.

I wanted to get a comfy yet slightly stylish shirt for a Steampunk convention and this one is perfect. I live in a hot climate and tend to get overheated easily. This shirt did a good job of keeping me comfortable. It's loose but not so billowy that it looks like a pirate shirt. The collar is just right for a casual look or a slightly dressier look when paired with a vest and tie - which is what I wanted. It's held-up really well in the washing machine. No loss of shape. Great shirt!

I love this shirt. The material and cut make it good for dressy occasions, but it isn't overly formal and great for everyday wear, especially with a four-in-hand or bow tie. Like many of your products, it's a staple of my daily wardrobe. Now my eye is on either the white or blue one for summer.

Perfect collared shirt
I just returned from Tombstones "Helldorado Days" where I wanted to get my photo taken with the Earp brothers and Doc Holliday. I had wonderful black Frontier Classics trousers, red apache scarf, grey tweed vest and white banded collar shirt. I ended up hating the shirt. It made me feel like I was choking. I bought the Sinclair Edwardian shirts in all the colors available and LOVE them. With the proper ties I can leave the collar unbuttoned, breathe and still look good.

I most recently had the opportunity to attend a “Black Tie Chic” event.
I did not want to purchase an entire tuxedo- what do to?
I turned to the myriad of shirts at Historical Emporium to put together a “look”.
To include the Tuxedo-look of the Sinclair Edwardian Club Collar Shirt and Gold Vest.
Well let me tell you I looked sensational- some folks came up to me and said I looked dapper.
I was worried about size but the shirt xxl fit fine- great cotton feel.
I did have a bit of a problem with the vest - which I will comment later.

The quality
Our grand daughter has chosen the theme of late Victorian for her wedding. Her colors are red and Gold. The first coat, shirt and pants that I ordered were too big and I needed to return them for the next smaller size. The exchange was accomplished within 5 days. A company rep. was very helpful when I called about the problem. The replacement garments are a good fit although I will need a small alteration to the vest because my middle is larger than my chest. Quality & workmanship of clothing is excellent and I expect that they will last for many years.... and Never go out of style. Thank you! I plan to order additional items in future.

Back in the 80s I used to do a lot of Civil War reenactments and had several shirts similar to these work shirts that I was able to get from the sutlers we would buy uniforms from. I always loved the way they fit and looked but had not been able to find since them. I found these, and ordered one, just to see the quality, and how they fit. Once it arrived, I was amazed, and happy. They look great with a vest, whether I am playing music, or riding my mule! I now have one of almost every color!

I bought both Trapper and Fundamental Work Shirts and my review/opinion for both is the same. Well made shirt. I expect it will last a very long time. Relatively thick cotton material, but comfortable and cool, not hot.
I bought size Xlarge and it fit better after washing. Minor shrinking after washing but it now fits perfectly. The shirt is meant to be puffy and large, and I am very glad I bought it.
Only complaint is the Trapper shirt collar is always wrinkled so I keep it unbuttoned which makes it look better and not obviously wrinkled. I could iron the collar but I am too lazy to do that.
Oh and shipping was very fast. I think I got the shirts in 2-3 days.

1928 Roadster and like to period dress for events and occasions. These trousers, knickers, shirts etc. from Historical Emporium fit the bill. Even though they are earlier vintage, for working guys, they are still in style for the 20's, 20's and even 40"s. The fit is good and the quality high. Love the stuff! Great quality! I am always wary when purchasing shirts online because they never fit. I have a big neck so when I buy a collard shirt I have to get one with a big enough neck so I'm not choking but the rest of the shirt ends up a dress. Not this one! This was a Christmas gift for my husband, so he just opened it yesterday--been wearing it ever since. He LOVES it! Perfect weight fabric, & seems VERY well constructed. Sizing is perfect for him too! He's already decided that he wants to take a look at your other "no collar" shirts, which are increasingly tough to find at affordable prices.

Took a while to receive the shirt, but well-worth the wait. Great shirt, very comfortable, and goes well with all my vests and scarfs. Very happy!
Wanted to purchase the black felt Gus crown hat also, but were out of stock and could not pre-order - disappointed, but will live!

This shirt arrived really quickly to me in the U.K. A nice style and very comfortable to wear, attracted
good comments from family and friends alike, as commented by another customer review you probably
couldn't get away with wearing a tie due to the collar size but that personally causes me no issues,overall
very pleased with my purchase and I hope the reverse style 'Earp Shirt' is soon available in my size.

This is my favorite shirt and it is a unique one. I''ve received more comments on this shirt than any. It is a good Sunday church shirt as well as a dinner on Saturday night shirt. It is also a head turner in restaurants. Beautiful shirt.

This is a very nice looking shirt. Very classy. I also have the white on black version of this shirt as well. You'll look very sharp wearing this Bad Boy. The only regret I have with this shirt is how thin the material is.

I would normally wear XL to get the neck closure but wear L if I didn't need the collar to be fastened. These shirts are generously cut (but not too big) so I can get a great fitting shirt in size L that still buttons up at the neck comfortably. Good quality as well.

worthless collar
The fabric pattern looks attractive and authentic. The background color is arctic white, which is a hard color for most people to wear and is not really authentic for the period. The shirt features a left breast pocket. To the best of my knowledge, shirts from the late 1800s did not have pockets. I returned the shirt because the collar is about one-half inch too short in height to wear any sort of cravat or neck-tie with. Even with the narrow band on the "Satin-Puff" necktie, the collar does not look right or work well on a dress shirt. I could live with the bright white color--but not the short collar.

Had to wait until my size was in stock, didn't care for that too much. Shirt arrived in fine condition and am now more than pleased. I will be wearing it tomorrow under a Calvin Klein two piece charcoal suit. It will look smashing. Historical needs to calculate for millennial customers in terms of stocking tall sizes.
